The full customization is perfect! I was able to move around parts to border the rifle and keep it from moving around.
Bought the long gun package. Had some left over because the case was for an AR-15. Will use leftovers for a pistol case.
I previously bought and installed the DAKA Organizer for my Pelican 1750 and was so happy with the flexibility, I decided to try the Universal Long Rifle Organizer for a couple of older pre-plucked 42" Plano All-Weather cases that just did not work as well as the updated 1750. These cases are a little different than the current Plano models, and based upon the dimensions listed for this Universal Organizer I realized that I could do both 13"x42" Plano cases with one Long Rifle kit. After using the original foam as a pattern for the outline as recommended in the instruction I found that an electric hot wire foam cutter works great for cutting the grids. I found the cutter at a local hobby store. I found that I need extra blocks if I use both cases at the same time.
