The Magpul DAKA Soft Case SR44 is a soft rifle case made from DAKA Grit material, making the case lightweight, flexible, durable, and weather resistant. The SR44 measures 44X3X12 and is designed to be used on those days when weight, speed, and flexibility matter the most. The cases two external YKK Aquaguard zippers are extremely rugged and include easy-grip 550 cord pulls that are reinforced with heat shrink-wrap for opening and closing the case. The case has a MOLLE-style base and includes five reconfigurable DAKA Gear Straps to secure a rifle, MOLLE-compatible pouches, or other gear. The interior of the lid features four stretchable mesh pockets to hold up to eight PMAG LR/SRGEN M3 magazines, a mesh organizational pocket for small items, and a zippered pocket for smaller accessories and documents.

Was forced to get this in black. Hate it. Would have bought 20 of these. Now I'm returning one.
Beautiful case that holds its shape, secures my rifle and is built tough.
I've been using this for the last three weeks on primarily long guns with suppressors. It's perfect for folding stock rifles like the Ruger Precision. You can fit a handful of magazines and a couple MTM 100 round cases (short action) with room to spare. The outside is quite durable and looks more like luggage than a gun case. I'll probably buy the other sizes to better suit different shooting styles.
I purchased this about a month ago and deliberately waited to give my review. This soft case is an exceptional product. It is a soft case, and tends to fold and give as a soft case. This is not a hard case so do not expect the same qualities. Although a soft case it holds its shape extremely well. My hesitation on purchasing a reviewing this case was other peoples reviews which stated “horrible zippers and internal velcro straps”. Zippers are great quality zipper which anyone has come to expect from Magpul. Could they use a bit of lubricant sure, but they do not fall short in any way. I have a Ruger Mini 30 in my case and the internal straps have held up as good as any other velcro strap. The internal webbing and pockets are also very good. All in all a great bag and I plan on purchasing 3 more. The exterior is my favorite, very discrete and easy to maintain. Great quality bag that will not disappoint. Now my cons, which are very few. Is this a phenomenal soft case, absolutely, is it with in its price point, I do not believe so. It is a pricey case where your appreciation for the brand will come into play. Can you get a cheaper bag yes will it be a Magpul absolutely not. Magpul does not disappoint, What I would love to see this bag come with is a way to integrate other Daka storage pouches in some way. Great job Magpul and I will continue to be a fanboy and purchase more products.
The case itself is really nice and well-built but the straps are absolute garbage. super easy to break the little Velcro holder side of them. My power supply for my computer came with more heavy duty Velcro straps than this and that was just for cables lol.For the price you pay i expected better tbh.
not really a soft case ,more like a cross between a soft and hard case which i like. Only thing that bothers me is when you zip the case closed the upper corner flap on the top cover gets stuck inside the case. Maybe i just need to break it in. More to follow

the case it self is great but the straps that hold weapons in place is the usual quality i have come to expect from magpul products kinda flimsy probably make my own
