I got one of the Apex Carbon tripod last fall and it works great. It is a little heavy, but the weight is what adds to stability. You can screw the gun cradle off and put on a Spotting scope on. Works good enough to not need 2 tripods. After seeing the new version with magna switch, with the rotation for angle, solved the only complaint I had. Hoping they get the magna switch adapters in before my next hunt!
This is a stable, very platform, didn’t know you needed a king-fu grip to use the trigger to lower and operate the height of the tripod, great for short people.
Not a lot of bang for the buck! the leg stops are hard to adjust and the legs don't operate very smooth. I have to shake it to get the legs to drop
I used the Primos Apex recently to zero in 3 different rifles. Very pleased. In the past I would use a table, shooting bags and chair. Those days are over. Apex simplified this entire process. I was able to zero standing behind the Apex. Trigger Stick adjustability made this so much easier to get on target. The Apex is significantly lighter than other sticks I’ve used. Can’t wait to hunt with this. Thanks Primos. You continue to be the “go to” for our hunting needs!!
I have always used Primos trail cameras and just recently switched to your new model and the clarity is so awesome and the performance is next level plus the videos are outstanding with great sound quality they have been in the woods for a year in all kinds of conditions and still hasn’t failed me keep up the great work Primos

Would be nice if they came adjusted for smooth use. Been adjusting the tripod for the past hour.
