Reaching lead pellet velocities of up to 950 FPS in .22 and 850 FPS in .25, and capable of power up to 36.3 FPE in .22 and 40.7 FPE in .25, it offers the performance necessary for pest control, plinking, and small-game hunting.
This air rifle uses a precision rifled barrel with an included moderator for lower noise, as well as an adjustable transfer port power knob that allows it to be tuned for different types of ammo and different uses. The Reximex Daystar is available with stocks from Turkish walnut and laminated varieties to black and camo synthetics, with texturing on the grip and forearm, as well as an elevation-adjustable cheekpiece and a textured rubber buttpad that is elevation-adjustable on the synthetic versions. It has a combination Picatinny and 11mm dovetail optics rail to accommodate a scope, in addition to a pressure gauge for monitoring the fill pressure, and sling swivel studs on the buttstock and the front of the forearm for convenience.

Excellent!!

Buy this gun!!
Great rifle for the money, it doesn't like slugs but I researched online before purchasing and didn't expect it to. It does shoot all the heavyweight pellets very well, I sighted in with 18gr AEA on 3/4 power because online it seems people are recommending less power for lighter pellets, but i want heavies so once sighted in, up to full power and I was very pleased how well it did with 21gr JTS semi dome, 25gr JSB ultra shock and 25gr monster Hades. After shooting some heavies I did shoot some 18gr Baracuda Hunter with good results and the standard 15gr Hades that maybe the power could be tuned down to 3/4 with. Being unregulated you could probably run heavy pellets in first mag and lighter in the second without much fluctuations. I was using the single shot tray. I like the feel of the gun, it fits me nice without adjusting the cheek rest or stock. Nice side lever and trigger. The muzzle break is easily removable to install a decent moderator.
A decent moderator instead of the muzzle break.
Great gun for the money, being unregulated it stayed consistent with heavy pellets down to 150 bar, thats just the lowest I went. The magazines felt a little awkward at first, they are loaded from the right side, round end first, but it is nice because you can watch your pellet count while shooting, it just a little getting used to loading the round end first. Expect to get a moderator if you want backyard friendly, but it so easy to put one on compared to a shrouded barrel.
Wow man, blue bombers 14.3gr right out of the box, 25yds kablooie, did nothing to the rifle. 900fps 1/2in group. This gun just feels good, the trigger is just incredible didn't touch it put a good optic on it ,a discoveryopt crystal clear glass. I then ran 15.89gr jsb through it same gig 1/2in group 1flyer. This is a solid solid weapon, tack driver, is a little noisy. nothing else to say other than me feeling sorry for these critters that are about to get their world all screwed up, those poor sparrows. Just a puff of feathers. Love it great purchase ya'll need to purchase one of these. I just special ordered the Throne rifle in 22cal skull camo..4 month wait for that puppy got a helluva deal from pyramyd those boys definitely rock, purchased under budget what more could you ask for. That's why I will continue to purchase my airguns from those fine folks. I've even had a return for repair on a Kral mortal. Again they rocked it, solid performance with the repair. Very very happy.
Nothing
Buy this airgun you won't regret it at all
Like the way it shoulders. Fits, feels like a well made hunting rifle. Solid, but not chunky. I'm 6'3, 240, so that needs to be considered i suppose. The fit/finish of the Daystar is as nice as my Akela so another tremendous plus.
Needs a bit longer scope rail. Mounting good 30mm rings in front of the magazine is a major PITA. Other than that, nothing.
Shooting mine in .25 I am getting 4 mags, 867fps using the JSB 25s and the JTS's. Don't like slugs at all. Least none of the few I tried. Accuracy is excellent as well, least out to 45 yards, that's my max backyard distance. It does have some bark when firing, but a Redcorn moderator quiets it way down to backyard friendly levels. It would be a nice addition if it was offered in a regulated version, but without is sure not a deal breaker. It's more than capable of taking out up to medium sized barnyard pests as well, much less squirrels and rabbits.
Accurate and beautiful blue laminate stock
The combination Picatinny/ 11 mm dovetail scope rail doesn’t work very well. Difficult to accurately mount scope. Needs a regulator.
Good for the price.

My rifle is in .22 caliber and it is very accurate right out of the box. I have not yet found a pellet that won't shoot well. I have used JTS dead center wadcutters in 18.13 grain, JSB Diabolo jumbo heavy in 18.13 grain. Stoeger X-Power in 21.12 grain, and even some Benjamin Discovery 14.3 grain that I bought from a local sporting goods store. So far, this rifle has not disappointed me with any of them.
It would have been nice had it come with a moderator, but the 1/2-20 threads on the muzzle of the unshrouded barrel makes installation of an aftermarket moderator of your choice a breeze. The picatinny rail on the muzzle end of the receiver is not very easy to work with. This section is too short and the ergonomics that have been cut into this end of the receiver kind of null out the picatinny rail forward of the magazine/breech area. Fortunately, the 11mm dovetail still works fine. If you stick with scope mounting options in the 11mm size you will be fine. Also, the barrel nut may need some attention. It is held into place by two grub screws at the 6 and 9 o'clock position and can slip easily if the rifle is jarred...make sure these are tight.
For the money, this is a very nice PCP rifle. I feel like I definitely got what paid for and then some.
