Description
The Springfield Armory TRP 1911 BB Pistol shoots .177 caliber BBs in semi or full-auto. It is powered by a single 12 gram CO2 cartridge that propels BBs to 320 FPS. Each replica pistol mimics its firearm counterpart with correct ergonomics and a substantial weight from its metal construction. It has full blowback thanks to the reciprocating slide which is great for simulating the impulse of recoil for training purposes.
It boasts an 18-round drop free magazine and has a fixed rear and a front blade sight for accuracy. This pistol is finished in coyote brown and has a Picatinny rail to install your laser or light of choice.

The astetics and true to form realism is what sold me. To be honest, I am a 1911 fan and have number of pistols in that platform. The gun has good weight to it, solid realistic controls and a good sight picture. The full auto is just a bonus. It won't live up to my Western Sidewinder, but the smile is the same.
This is not bought for accuracy, but could be used to help becoming familiar with firearms or possibly training muscle memory. Me... I got it just because. Be safe & have fun.
In simi auto it does fine but in full auto it keeps jamming up or it just doesn’t work properly. Save yourself time and money on this one. The mil-spec is way better than this one

Overall the pistol worked as advertised. Some internal rattle.
modify the bb feed on the magazine so you can lock the feed mechanism to load the bb's.
Suggest checking the thumb safety lever for full engagement when placing into the safety position. My purchase 1911 model did not work properly. It would work only if I held the lever in the safe position. If you pulled the trigger, it would fire. This needs to be addressed as this could be a SAFETY ISSUE. May want to check inventory before sending item to customer. I am living with this problem as a work around. Been shooting for many year and have no children at home etc.
