TenPoint TX 440 Crossbow Package

Nice crossbow. Decent scope. Very accurate. Compact. Great trigger!!. I have shot probable a dozen different crossbows and the TX 28 is the quietest shooting bow I have personally shot. Reason for only 3 stars. Advertised 410 FPS with 400gr arrow, 390 with supplied 445gr. WAY off. Mine for the first 40 shots averaged 377.8. I was hoping the bow would pick up a few FPS when the string settles in BUT it actually has lost FPS. Last 30 shots have averaged 373.3. Using a Garmin Xero. Debating contacting Tenpoint or returning bow and getting the TX 440. Was hoping for 385-395 fps.

The TX440 solved all the gripes I had with my Siege. The safety is intuitive to use. I remove the quiver once in the stand. Like others have noted, it shot great-then I’d have a ‘flier’. Maddening! Meagan @ Tenpoint CS service solved the mystery. Ensure the bolt is loaded with both fletchings on same side of the string! You CAN load it without noticing this. Using the heavy bolts with Evo X broadheads it consistently chony’d at 400 fps. The 12 point never knew what hit him!

All went excellent, until the 100 yard sight in, the scope's speed ring would not turn. If, not for that I would give it 5 star rating.

Great crossbow. Light, quiet and lethal. After shooting I see why people would upgrade to these newer bows. Wow

Very fast, and accurate, I am new to bow hunting but very pleased with the tx440

The crossbow is very accurate and consistently shoots tight groups..the maneuverability in a tree stand or blind when making tight shots with small window of opportunity is what i like..of course its quiet and very easy to cock..even while taking a second shot while in the stand or blind..zero rail so that helps with the accuracy and friction ..one thing that should be looked at..the finish will wear off at the bottom of handle..a rubberized clear coat should fix at the bottom of handle should fix the problem from Tenpoint

All around great crossbow p, easy to sight in, even with bad shoulders I can easily shoot freehand,also makes taking longer shots very possible

Great bow with compact design. I purchased it in combination with the garmin zero range finding scope. Extremely easy to set up and once dialed in at 25 yards, the rest was history.

I purchased this crossbow before last season and quickly went to practicing - very easy and fun to shoot! Groups were tight, loading/reloading/unloading was all very straightforward, and then on my first hunt, I placed a perfect heart shot on a great 8-point whitetail at 27 yards. The speed, accuracy, and Nemesis broadhead made for quick work and an easy recovery. Can't wait until this season!
