TenPoint STAG Elite Crossbow Case

Great case!!! Crossbow fits really well and feels very secure with straps. Great side storage compartments!!! Would 5 stars but one of the pulls on the zipper broke almost immediately

My Stag Elite Case arrived a couple of days ago. For my needs, it is the best option out there. I purchased the case to protect my Venom X crossbow. I have the custom folding extension stirrup that many of you have installed on the Venom X or Turbo X. With the stirrup folded flat up under the barrel, it works just fine. You do have to remove the nylon/plastic Picatinny accessory rail to do so. No problem, just two screws to remove and put back in the holes to avoid misplacing them. The case is about a half inch short if you leave that stirrup fully extended. The standard stirrup fits just fine. The case is hard shelled and really has the resilience to deal with the ride on a quad or in the back of pickup truck. I tested the zippers with a glass of water and they are indeed waterproof. I would not pile 50 pounds of gear on top of the case, but it can definitely handle the normal tortures we put cases through. I would not recommend it for airline use, but it was not designed for that, nor is it super heavy or pricey. The hook and loop straps are riveted to the bottom of the case and do a great job of securing the crossbow inside the case. Loaded quivers 24" or less in length do fit in the larger side pockets. The case has rubber coated, heavy duty handles on top and on one side. The four D rings are held in place with heavy webbing and are easy to fasten down with the straps of your choice to a 4-wheeler rail. I like that it does not have a sling and sling attachment to get in the way. If you want to use a sling, you could clip your own to two of the D rings. The case is far better than any "soft" case I have used, but it is not heavy or bulky. It is considerably cheaper than the SKB style case. I am sure the case would also work with many other brands of crossbows having similar dimensions to the TenPoint crossbows listed for its use. My crossbows have the CERTIS scope, and I'm sure the Oracle X would also fit, as stated by TenPoint. I checked by placing some masking tape sticky side up on top of the scope while pushing down on the top of the closed case. The tape stayed in place and did not adhere to the underside of the case top. I checked a number of dealers selling the case, and when you consider shipping, taxes, and any available discounts, the best deal was actually TenPoint if you use their 10% off coupon for accessories.
