The Umarex Notos PCP Carbine is a maneuverable and convenient air rifle with features that make it ideally suited for versatile and accurate shooting. Capable of producing maximum velocities up to 700 FPS with a 12-grain pellet, this pcp rifle provides ample power for plinking, pest control, and small-game hunting.
This Carbine version allows shooters to adjust the length of pull by extending the length-adjustable buttstock to get the specific fit they want, while also allowing the overall size to remain compact when fully collapsed. In addition, the ridged rubber buttpad results in better control and comfort and aids in getting a repeatable hold.
The Umarex Notos Carbine uses a 66cc air cylinder filled to 3,625 PSI to deliver up to 40 shots per fill, and it also has a regulator set to 1,900 PSI to deliver 21 of those shots at consistent, fully-regulated optimal velocity. In addition, the removable 7-round auto-indexing magazine delivers fast follow-up shot convenience, and the included single-shot tray allows shooters to optimize accuracy for focused shooting.
Quiet shots are made possible because of the three-baffle SilencAir System and shrouded barrel, and the convenient and smooth sidelever leads to easy cocking. To facilitate aiming, this air gun has an integrated full-length Picatinny optics rail, and the integrated manometer combines with the male Foster quick-disconnect fill fitting to make filling simple. The Umarex Notos PCP Air Rifle is an excellent option for hunting small game such as squirrels or rabbits out to 45 yards.

Things I Would Have ChangedUmarex needs to replace the defective designed magazines, they are totally useless. Can not trust them not to at anytime to jam up! The Notos is scored 5 stars even with the bad designed mags, not the gun's fault Umarex stuck it bad mags.
What Others Should KnowPlan on purchasing 3rd party mags if you want a proper functioning repeater. At least it came with a single shot tray so I could enjoy shooting the gun without having to stop and un-jam the pellet malfunction cause by the defective designed magazine while waiting for my 3rd party mags to arrive.

Things I Would Have ChangedDump the non-standard o-rings. I like to work on my guns and always buy a full set of O-Rings to repair what I damage. Some of the sizes had 6-month lead times. The open sights cannot be used with the included stock. It is impossible to get your face low enough to use the open sights. Either correct the stock or somehow elevate the open sights about an inch. Make the moderator removable. Would simplify certain modifications. Better trigger adjustment, would like to get down to 1.5 pounds, currently seems to limit at 2.5 pounds.
What Others Should KnowGood solid entry level gun with features of more expensive guns. I'm setting mine for 12 foot pounds to be back yard friendly. The low price and adjustability make a nice back yard plinker and target gun.

I love the notos! It’s the best beginner pcp! consistent regulated shots with jsb hades pellets are outstanding! I have had no issues with the mags ether.
Things I Would Have ChangedI wish they included the fiber optic sights with the rifle itself so even if you don’t have a scope you can still shoot the rifle out of the box. I want a higher shot count. But for the price and lightweight there would be compromises.
