The Cold Steel Gladius Machete remains one of the most popular models in our hybrid sword / machete series. Its made from 65Mn steel with black anti rust matte finish. The Gladius Machete features the classic guard and ball shaped pommel of years gone by, but with the added strength and durability found with full-tang construction and modern materials. We use high-impact Polypropylene for our handle, making it almost impervious to the elements and rugged beyond belief. The Gladius Machete comes complete with a sturdy Cor-Ex sheath and belt loop for easy of carry and use.

Had mine for five years, gets used all the time at work for clearing brush. Takes an edge and keeps it. The only thing I've added is cordage to the grip.
Found what I wanted, at affordable prices, and got quality products that I can trust.
Have owned this machete for around 6 or 7 years and have used it on a regular basis. By far one of the best machetes I've ever owned. Excellent for vines and thin materials. However not ideal for heavy cutting of hardwoods 4 inches and larger. With that being said, this is a great machete that won't bend and won't let you down.
Very cool and of a high quality for the price point as always cold steel never lets me down I own over a hundred from early stuff to present day and was worried about the GSM takeover but they are killing it and better then ever

This came recommended as a cheaper version of a small one handed sword and it was razor sharp thin blade but doesn't matter I was still able to cut a milk creat in half with one swing like it wasn't even there...
This machete is crazy I love the way it looks. sharp strong, the sheath is beautiful.
