H&N Excite Hammer Pellets, .22 Cal, 14.66 Grains, Domed, 250ct

I purchased 6 different brands of .22 cal. pellets (from Pyramyd AIR) to see how they would group in my Gamo Swarm Viper 10x Gen3I I purchased a few months ago for doing some shooting on paper for fun and also some pest control. I've already tested a couple other brands of pellets with pretty good grouping from them. I know every air rifle (break barrel or pcp) has that one brand and weight that will consistently group well. I'm only shooting 10-15 yards (my backyard is small do to a 2 1/2 garage taking up a lot of it) so if I can't get a tight group from that distance on paper I'm going to say the rifle is not a fan of them. Also, I only did a 5 shot grouping on paper from all the brands to see how well they would group. I have to say I had a very tight grouping with these pellets and will be purchasing a few more tins in the near future...

Visually flawless, by far the most accurate out of my Crosman 362.. .380" at 15 yards. And being one of the cheaper pellets I will be getting alot more of these.

Beware of the lid on the tin, comes off easy, but being a cheaper price this is part of the money saving on H&N part.

Make them in different sizes,5,50,5,51,5,52. A friend bought a tin and gave me a few and they shot great I ordered a few tins and the ones I got were horrible shotgun pattern from same rifle. Diameter consistency.

Pyramid air packs the pellets great.

Consistent head sizes measurements show 5.5mm as printed on can Most my springers like them not so for 177cal version

Offer larger head sizes like 5.52,5.54Mm and yes screw on lid 500 pick up game is not fun even if just 250 Ha

Great low cost alternative to WM Crosman hollow points with 4 different head sizes in same can and getting worse every decade

Screw type lid for tin. More uniformity in pellets. Gr Wt on tin.

Push on lid. Very accurate from my Umarex Strike point pistol @ about 500fps from 25ft. Which is all I've been able shoot from so far. From researching this pellet/reviews, from what I can gather, it's about. 14.66gr

I have tried several pellets with my .22 gamo raptor whisper and this is the most accurate and have the hit power to get rid of pesty invasive iguanas, most shots in the range fo 50-100 feet. Pellet quality is excellent.

Not a big deal but I will like a screw cap instead of the push on, not a deal breaker.

Quality is top, well above many others in the same price range.

More accurate than the 8 other types,of pellets I tried in my Diana Stormrider PCP rifle.

This is a great pellet for my Gamo Swarm Whisper air rifle and shoots quarter groups at 20 yards. I originally had Crosman Premier pellets, but they did not shoot very well. Definately pleased with this pellet.
