JSB Exact Jumbo Monster Light .22 Cal, 20.83 Grains, Domed, 200ct

Finally !!!, I have found the pellet my FX DRS Tactical .22 cal 500mm barrel shoots best. I have left it on the OEM regulator setting (no adjustment made) it shoot absolutely tight .375 diameter x 10 round groups at 45 yards. Current stats are 850 fps average 33.5 ft/lb energy. I have tested pretty much every pellet and weight offered by Pyramid Air and then some to finally land here. The DRS seems to be a bit pellet picky but it likes these the absolute best. I select individual flies at 45 yards on dog food left in the target area. I can pick off individual flies at 45 yards with these pellets. Individual blades of grass/weeds as well. Simply amazing combo.

Pellets arrived in the standard Pyramid fashion. (able to be air dropped from a moving plane and arrive perfect) the pellets are beautiful, no dents, no bent or mis-formed shape, remarkably clean with no visible residue or dust. Impressed with the quality. I do not care about price per shot when they shoot and perform like these pellets. Value for the money is accuracy on target. I just ordered 8 more tins.

My Notos did NOT like these. Two inch groups at 20 yards.

These penetrate pretty well, 2 inches into a pine log.

They are not crazy accurate, I haven't had a windless day, so that may be affecting it a little at 25yds.

If you want a round that shoots flatter than 25.39gr, and with more weight than 18.13gr, then these are the pellets for you.

These are fantastic! My 22 cal AvengeX was shooting 18 grain pellets just a little too fast (about 930fps., and 25 grain pellets way too slow. I put these 20 grain pellets in a mag and the AvengeX was shooting in the goldilocks zone (890fps.) I could've easily tuned the rifle to shoot the 18 grain pellets at 890fps just with a small hammer spring tweak, but I kinda like the added power I get with these slightly heavier pellets. Plus, I have too many .22 cal PCPs that shoot 18 grain pellets anyway. I can see these becoming very popular.

I wish they weren't sold in only 200 count tins. They should be sold like all other JSB pellets, and be offered in a 500 count tin. It's probably just because they're new.

Even if you primarily shoot 18 grain pellets, these are close enough to where you only really have to adjust you scope a bit. It cuts the fps of 18 grain pellets down about 40fps. Thry definitely hit harder, and they're clearly a more hardy pellet build wise.
