Magpuls DAKA GRID Organizer is a fully customizable drop-in organizational solution that secures and protects your important equipment when its stored or transported in your existing hard case. Specifically designed to fit Pelican V700 Vault gun cases, the GRID Organizer is completely reconfigurable to meet your storage needs. Individual Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) Panels and Blocks nest together securely to maximize protection, versatility, and ease-of-use. They can be organized to brace and immobilize rifles, optics, ammunition, accessories, and other gear, and they can be quickly removed and reinstalled for your next loadout. The lightweight GRID system uses compression to immobilize and compartmentalize your gear, firmly holding it in place and providing advanced protection during transport. The result is less movement and better impact resistance for your gear than youll get from current open cell foam options that can let your gear slide around inside your case during transport. Also, the GRIDs EPP make up doesnt absorb contaminants like open cell foam does, providing resistance to liquid and chemical intrusion and mitigating contamination of your gear. Cleaning up dirt, chemicals, and liquids is easy with just a damp cloth. Offering numerous advantages over traditional foam and expensive laser-cut inserts, the GRID provides intuitive, modular organization at your fingertips. Its reconfigurable without tools, so it can be adapted to your loadout in seconds. If youre carrying wider or taller equipment, a center GRID Panel can also be removed to open up space for objects approximately 4.25 inches wide. If you end up needing to cut a Panel to create a unique cavity for wider gear, the EPP cuts smoothly and doesnt lose its strength or ability to protect your important equipment. Daka grids are great. These work very well to secure whatever is inside a Pelican vault case. It allows swapping items and keeping them secure unlike cutting foam where once the foam is cut you cant easily swap items.

This is the extremely handy, especially when I need travel. I love how easy it is to put together, but also how strong the material is.
I had struggled with how i could take my two rifles to the range. So i got a v700 and with the foam around the same time I understood the daka grid organizer was a thing so i was trying to see how i could make it work for a model not meant for my case. Low and behold v700 daka grid was promoted and i waited got and it fits them perfectly will need to get some extras to have a case that holds mags and ammo but this is perfect
The DAKA Grid for my Pelican 700 fits perfectly. Just had to shuffle the original foam inserts to get it right.
I have bought three of these organizers for the V800, V730, and V700. The V800 and V730 both came with base foam. This one (V700) did not come with the base foam. The product description says that it is part of the system. The instructions in the box say to use the supplied base foam.

The only way to transport! Forget the cutout foam, the DAKA grid system is a must have for Pelican rifle cases. I have two cases, one V730 set up for longer guns and one V700 set up for shorter rifles. I have the blocks set and marked with a silver sharpie for easy identification of what goes where. Even still, the system is super configurable, so if I change up what I carry in what case I just switch up the blocks. Way more efficient than using cut out foam since I can use some blocks for holding the rifles in place and others to make little sections to hold mags or ammo or tools or whatever. Great solution and great execution and fairly priced to boot.
