Seems like it could be a good sight. When I tried to remove the tab that keeps the batteries from draining, the assembly fell apart in my hands before I could analyze how it was put together. I attached a picture of the parts. I haven't been able to find a configuration that works. The wires coming out of the lamp seem close together, so I can't see how to complete a circuit here. There are no diagrams, instructions, or videos anywhere. So, the light is a non-starter.
What kind of battery does the sight use been a vary good sight so fat
Pros: affordable price point. Pins were bright enough. Not too heavy to add to my kids' bow. Cons: adjusting it was a bit of a hassle. Stripped out after 1 year. If you are going to set it and forget it this would work ok. If you are going to have to move pins a lot while your kid gains poundage like I did be aware it can strip out on you.
The sight and Trophy Ridge products, but I've noticed that my site is about an inch to 2 inches to the left from when I bought it. I'm wondering if that could have messed with my aim because I've already lost arrows because of it. I'm trying to compensate, but there was nothing that came with the bow about the site the quiver the arrow arrest, or the stabilizer just about the species ev itself.
Got this sight with a bow package. Is a decent sight but the light doesn't work 95% of the time. Dont have a manual with it. And having a difficult time sighting it in.
I got the sight when I bought the hunting package and can not unscrew the two screws to make it go up and down or side to side
Love the sight. Used it for two or three seasons and have been rough on it but it's on point! What size batteries do they take?
I have looked everywhere for what size Allen key I need to sight it in, but there is nothing that will give me the correct size.
Easy to sight in and adjust (if you can). I recently bought a Bear Species EV RTH with this sight and when I tried to get it sighted in it seemed easy enough to do until I tried to loosen the windage screw to adjust it left. It came from factoty wayyy over torqued and is nearly impossible to even break free. The hex hole ended up stripping out and now Im left with a useless sight on my bow...

The sight came with by Adapt 2 HP, it’s been pretty good but the pin aren’t perfectly lined up vertically so it makes it tough to sight in side to side since it is off.
