Cold Steel 3V Pendleton Mini Hunter

Had this knife for a few years now still using it,takes lots of punishment.

The Mini Hunter was the blade of choice for me this spring. On my belt, it found its way to some of the most beautiful trout streams of the Ozarks, to the hill country of Texas. Pros: Unbelievably lightweight. You almost forget that you're wearing it. The Kydex Sheath is tight and tough. Not to mention that it's easy to wash out. The etched grip made hanging onto the knife simple, especially when things got slippery with fish and turkey blood. Cons: Blade is too short. It would work well on smaller birds, but on large turkeys, it doesn't quite do the job that a longer, more narrow blade can do when removing breast meat. It also didn't stay sharp very long. Because of the short blade, once one part goes dull, you don't have much to work with anymore. Overall, it's a nice knife to keep in your pack, but be sure to carry a small sharpening stone, or strop.

No, mine did not come with the black Diamond cote either. But it's really not necessary. CPM-3V is not a true stainless steel but it is very rust resistant. It will serve you very well for non-saltwater outdoor use with little maintenance. I find the size, weight, CPM-3V steel, and drop-point shape perfect for small game cleaning and trappers looking for a good skinning knife. Plus, it has a sharp 90* spine for scraping the ferro rod. Yes, definitely, 5 stars.

Misrepresented. Described as black DLC finish. And photos incorrect. Horrible customer service.

i have had this knife for about 10 yrs. a fellow coworker swore by it and so do I. i bought one for my son.
