Taking inspiration from the classic "Trench Knives" from both World Wars of the last century, we have developed a series of new tactical fixed blades that are suitable for the challenges faced by today's modern day warriors.Our Chaos series fixed blades are equipped with unique "D" ring guards made from reinforced 6061 aluminum, allowing for an incredibly secure and comfortable grip while protecting the hand both from incoming attack and damage while striking or cutting an opponent who's covered in body armor, ammo, flashlights, magazines and gear! Their extra thick 1055 carbon steel pommels are tapered to concentrate the percussive force of a hammering strike, and their full tang SK-5 High Carbon steel blades are expertly heat treated for maximum performance.Their tough Secure-Ex sheaths are Molle-Lok and Tek-Lok compatible, with rugged adjustable Cor-Ex belt loops and retaining straps for a secure and reliable lock up when not in use.The Chaos series combine maximum safety and security with extreme performance and combat potential.

Wow. This thing is good quality. Bigger than I expected but a good stand your ground knife. This knife would be a fantastic knife for a soldier. Go figure, right? Being a trench knife and all.
It feels wonderful in your hand. The weight is comfortable sharp as a razor right out the box. This is within arms reach at all times.
Well constructed, but remember - this is a combat, not utility knife.

I bought this because of its vicius looks and because of the trench dagger style, and because i belive that Cold Steel makes good products overall. I also have on of their spears which is a formidable weapon itself. I have not tested it and abused it, but i keep it with me when walking in woods and such. This is the kind of blade that could save ones life in a tight spot more than other knives, the handguard can be used as a knuckle duster, which is a huge bonus in damage dealing + protection for your hand. The blade has a high fearfactor over it and scares other humans also, it is after all, a nasty and deadly blade. This blade is big, long, and has the ability to go deep into a target to hit vitals. Only negative thing so to say is that it would like the handguard/knuckleduster part be more defined after my own hand, its also rather big, but not a big problem in that way because its all about learning use it also.
