This is the second SOG-TAC AU compact. The first one I had carried while playing golf and somehow lost it on the course. It’s a popular knife because I had to wait quite a while before they became available again. I love the knife.

Great knife. Easy to open and close, tight pocket clip, and a nice size for everyday carry.
I like the compact size, blade shape and how the safety integrates with the opening movement. Blade tight, no excess play or movement. Only downer is it might be a tiny bit heavier than what I am used too. Clip is very tight so little movement in my pocket. Excellent EDC general purpose knife. If it goes back on sale may but another.
Well made knife. Looks great and really sharp. Can not operate switch when locked without using a finger on both sides. Not as snappy opening as I would expect.
My 6th SOG KNIFE. I bought this one for my wife, for her everyday carry. The knife is Light weight and extremely durable. Very Quick access blade.

The lock sticks about half the time. This requires two fingers to open the knife.
Great knife clips tight rides deep. Unfortunately it took over a week and an inquiry to get it shipped. Not sure what happened there.
