Our Cold Steel Escrima Stick resembles a traditional rattan stick used by Filipino Martial Artists in length, weight, and cross section. Injection molded from super tough black high-impact polypropylene, it weighs a little over 15 ounces and measures 32" long and 1" in diameter. Unlike rattan, it resists mildew, and won't dry out, warp, crack, splinter or shrink. It's also amazingly durable and resistant to impact stresses. Furthermore, our Escrima Stick can easily be modified to any length to suit your personal requirements. We're confident that you'll want to add one or more of these durable sticks to your training gear!

Incredible durability! Wieghted perfectly for balance and a consistent grip for control.
Our rattan sticks are only as good as the tape that holds them together. When one of the students introduced your polyurethane versions, we gave them a try. They are allowing us to practice our usual strikes and it’s saving us on the cost of replacing beat up rattan. They also have a good shock-absorption quality. However, I would caution for each wielder to be extra careful with the degree of power placed into their strikes. I just recently snapped the upper end of one of these polyurethane sticks when it struck against another of the same brand that was practically at a standstill, wielded by one of the students. We’ll continue to use them. Other than that, these sticks are excellent for the majority of mainstream FMA styles.
I bought these this after noon. got a pair and he gave me a good deal. I asked them if they could take a beating and one of them simply said "They will not shatter". A few hours later, i have fresh layers on my calluses, i switched to my heavy gloves and i am beating trees like i wanna take a pair of broken sticks back to the flea market. Thus far, i have failed in this objective. These sticks are awesome.
Actually bought 2 a couple years ago, love training with them. Heavier weight, so it makes me focus on technique , so i get more of a workout, stronger material and fun to use. Love these sticks!
