As a nod to the great success of our Pendleton Lite Hunter, we have decided to make more economical versions of our popular Tanto and Outdoorsman knives. They resemble their more expensive versions in that they feature similar blades, guards, handles, and pommels. The only significant change was the use of slightly thinner 4116 German Stainless Steel blades, and the implementation of less costly materials in the handles. The handles are made in two parts. They feature a Polypropylene guard, pommel, and core section, which totally envelopes the knives' full tangs. The core is then over-molded in a deeply checkered Kraton for a non-slip grip that's impervious to the elements and is easily cleaned with soap and water.

I found this knife the best EDC fixed blade I’ve used on the ranch. Very versatile
Gave this knife to my fries who fishes a lot. Said it’s an all around great knife!
I have yet to take this knife out for a test, but I will. I am impressed with the fell and looks of it so far, except for the top part, not sure if that was to be sharp, I think it should be. Sheath and knife a little raddley but it seems secure. Overall, I think it will be a good camp knife.
I am very pleased with the quality of this knife. I will make it my car trunk knife.
The knife is fine, but the sheath does not hold theknife in.

It feels really sturdy and the handle is super grippy, its a big and strong knife for a really low price, totally worth it :)
I purchased the Outdoorsman Lite as a backup for a deer hunt this season. When I received the knife I liked it so much I stuck my much more expensive knife in my pack and gave this knife a go. I was very impressed with the edge retention and the grip as I skinned and boned out my buck. From start to finish I never had to touch up the edge on my steel It was just as sharp when I finished the job as it was when I started. I've paid hundreds for knives that don't perform as well as this one did in the field. I have several Could Steel blades, some I use daily in my taxidermy shop and I've never been disappointed. The Outdoorsman Lite didn't disappoint either, another great blade from Cold Steel!
