Great sword shaped object to drill or pell with. Not for sparing.
I brought it for my training in school's Martial Arts Club. The sword seems cool, and it's easy to slash, even I'm a initiate of MAC. I will purchase more Coldsteel's products in the future. Hope to see more inexpensive and affordable traditional Chinese melee weapons are be made by Coldsteel.
First time buying a practice sword. Feels balanced and comfortable. Good weight and nice length for my height (5’1”).
this is a good product. coldsteel please consider producing a larger training sword that is more akin to a greatsword or claymore.
Sword was good except for removable parts. Wished it was all one piece.
Pretty decently indexed, been learning techniques from YouTube.Its as if these sword were designed with learning in mind. Can't wait to spar with this. Definitely got a helmet this thing could Crack skulls.
This training sword is incredible with how nice it looks along with the durability to be able to spar and train with it without worrying about wood splintering or a less desirable plastic shattering. It certainly is within the Cold Steel tradition I know and love of being affordable and high quality without compromise.
Great for training, the weight gives the forearms a great pump when doing mobility exercises. Given, I don’t spare with it, only use it for mobility training and flow work
I bought this a while back and here is my take. Material: Great, holds up under a lot of abuse. Blade: Fine length for practice. Handle: Terrible for a sword meant for optional use with two hands - the handle is 9.5 inches long with the pommel being part of that length. If your hands are larger than a child's you cannot comfortable use two hands. The handle portion (not including pommel) should be at least 10 inches.

I use this to practice sword cuts and exercise. I don’t have a partner so I am not clashing with anyone. The weight on the sword is great. First workout I did with it I was sore for days. The down side is the guard isn’t attached to the blade so you have to rely on the rubber piece that it was shipped with to prevent it from flying off. All in all it’s great way to work out and work different sword use muscles . I am planning on buying another practice sword at some point to train with both arms simultaneously. Highly recommend this for training
