Cold Steel Lynn Thompson Signature Ti-Lite 6'' G10 (S35VN), Ambidextrous

Just bought it and I have been using it for everything from the garage,yard d,& even in the kitchen. It is very capable in every situation it is a really well made neat and convenient handy knife. Razor sharp. Watch Lynn’s video and you tube torture tests this knife is insanely well built and astonishingly and strong/tough ! I am very impressed with this blade. Sharp, robust, and a tight fit were apparent straightaway. As I was deploying it to determine EDC, I discovered the ability to open upon drawing from pocket similar to the other concept in other knives. I have decided to make this the EDC.

This knife requires some break in the pivot and the liner lock. Overall amazing knife and sharp as it comes. Would recommend this for a large pocket knife. Can do everything a small knife can and then more.

I own many many cold steel knives. This particular knife is MUCH different. There is no thumb stud and opening it is a two handed affair. I've watched videos of people snapping the blade out quickly using various methods. I'm not a weak person and I am a knife collector. There is no way I can quickly deploy this blade in any way I've tried. I'm not sure if it was built too tight. It seems to open and close just fine with two hands. It's just very difficult to get the leverage and safely open it any other way. That makes this knife a bad option for self defense. Which is its intended design and purpose. Maybe a smaller one would be different or maybe it's too tight, but it doesn't seem too tight to me. I probably have close to 50 knives and this is the only one that I struggle to open. Even if I try to use some of the suggested techniques slowly, I can't really make it happen. I refuse to believe it's just me. I wish I knew if there was something I was doing wrong. But if it takes an experienced knife collector like me this much effort, then maybe it's not worth it. For reference, almost all my knives are lock back designs

Just a warning, this knife is massive. I bought to add to a collection. Price and quality was too good to pass up. Being signed and numbered helped. Too big to carry unless you live in Texas. lol. Very happy with purchase and value. Thanks Cold Steel👍

Poor quality. I bought lots of CS knives, this is the worst quality control. Liner locking is too stiff very hard to unlock. Blade too tight to open or close.

Very solid knife, main problem is the lock, hard to reach and difficult to press. Maybe itll get better with use?

Great knife. Nice handle,sharp. Only thing I don’t like is the notch for the thumb stud is so small it makes closing the knife hard.

I absolutely love this knife. It has all the strengths of the original Ti-Lite but increases the cutting power with its elongated clip point and higher flat grind as opposed to the bayonet grind of the original.
