SOG Pinnacle Bowie HQ Edition 7.5 Blade, Black, Ambidextrous, Fixed Blade

Just bought the Pinnacle Bowie tonight. It was a great price for a budget friendly knife. Excited to put some work in with it. Blade looks fantastic and the handle feels pretty nice in the hand. The only thing that is weird to me, is the sheath belt loop and the knife handle loop are both done using a tension wedge method to hold the straps from undoing. It would have been more secure and stronger to have a solid loop, which I get that you couldn't slide strap behind and attack, but there are other designs that would complement the same idea. Loop for knife handle security would be a simple movements up and down hillsides to make it come lose, and that is one of the last thing you would want to happen, loose knife, because it also doesnt fit tight in sheath. With all that is said,bits mainly an issue with the sheath not the blade itself. So all in all outstanding blade.

Awesome knife for the price, I’ve used it once on a salmon to get the blood going from the gills. Like that it has the serrated option on the back of the blade.

The knife goes excellent with my every day out door use.

Have you this knife everyday it is the best night for the money.

Utter Garbage. It may be cheap, but it may get a troop killed. Retired 25 year combat vet making these statements. Where is the quality of the Seal 2000? Buy mine back. It is trash I've carried other SOGs .in combat and they excelled. This thing is junk. Go back to Seki. I'll pay more more a better knife.

I collect no nonsense relatable and economical bowie knifes. Subdued or pure black. For the money and durability. this item was A1.
