Cold Steel Aluminum Head Sword Cane

I purchased this sword cane several years ago. It looks great, however, from the time of purchase, it would frequently be difficult to draw out of it sheath. Currently, I am unable to draw it out of the sheath at all. With 2 adults pulling from each end, still won’t budge. Tried using a hair dryer to heat up the aluminum head with no luck. Now I have a sword cane that is useless (other that just using it as a cane.

When i git it it would not unsheath as if its glued shut. Tried everything. Wd40, hammering out. Nothing. Its just stuck in the cane. I paid 150 for a stick.

I made a great choice. I would buy again. Does rattle.

Seemed well constructed with durable materials. I haven't had occasion to put it to the test though. There is a small rattle noise of the sword in the case. Perhaps an inner sleeve would remedy the noise.

The tip of the point was dull and need a little work with a wet stone to fix. 5 mins and done. The big disappointment is the lack of dampening in the sabbard. The long thin blade rattles around in side giving itself away. It sounds as if something is loose inside. A couple of baffles to keep the blade from vibrating and announcing itsself would go a long way. I am currently exploring ways of doing so.

I am 56 and have wanted something like this since... always. Nothing about it disappoints. Very solid yet surprisingly lightweight. This specific round grip would be a little awkward for swinging but, to be clear, the sword is purely a rectangular cross-sectioned dueling sword. It has a very sharp and durable point for thrusting and, if necessary, would put a deep hole through an opponent.

I purchased the sword cane about ten years ago to replace my old cane. I did not expect to get something so we’ll made. Once I pulled the sword out of the cane body I was blown away by the quality of it. Well done Cold Steel.
