Cold Steel Quick Draw Sword Cane

Solid feel to give plenty of confidence when walking

A light, comfy skewer in a tube. I am grinding an edge on mine to make it slicey. It also walks well.

I bought this cane a year ago. I feel comfortable using as my everyday walking cane with added protection. I use this cane when I walk my French Bulldog, it makes Mel feel confident and less stressed .

I actually bought my cane about 5 or 6 years ago, but decided to write a review after discussing Cold Steel canes yesterday with my neighbor, who's also a huge fan. I love this cane, it's an elegant yet simple design, super sharp attitude adjuster tucked inside, and indistinguishable as anything but a walking stick at a glance. I read so many reviews just now complaining about it being difficult to draw, all I can say is maybe they need to toughen up a little. With a slight twist as you draw, it pops free in a split second. My only grief is that it's about 5" too long for my 5'6" frame, but I go along with it well enough anyways. Maybe I'll get to my old machine shop & turn it down a few inches, but in this many years it hasn't bothered me that much to worry about it. Perhaps in the future Cold Steel may offer a couple of different lengths.

Well The last reviews I've read these men were crying about how hard it was to draw .ALL I can say is that they either have limp wrist or just plain weak sisters because mine works perfect thank you Cold Steel and guys stop playing with your willies and start working out and not with your playstation Charles Elexie Creel. I absolutely love this cane my only regret is not buying it sooner people complain about the quickdrawal action although I have had no issue and the weight of this thing is phenomenal as well as the way it feels in the hand is very satisfying

I'm glad I purchased this cane, just the right height and inconspicuous. The shaft would make a great striker and the quick draw item (it does draw smoothly and quickly) is formidable as a striker with a bonus wicked point. So confident walking around with this thing! I wish the the top wasn't a pistol grip (I'd prefer the city stick/ball type) but it is elegant I suppose...might try to modify somehow. that's the four stars instead of five. Really 4.9 out of 5.

When deciding if I should buy the item I read reviews that said it was hard to draw. That gave me a little pause but I decided to order anyway. I’m glad I did because it is a sturdy item and while I would not say that it is easy to draw, if one gives just a little twist when drawing it comes out just fine. Since I do use this as a cane I bought a cane tip since the one provided was not anti slip.
