It's a real challenge to make a double-edged knife strong and tough enough to meet our standards but our new Drop Forged Wasp has exceeded all of our expectations. You see there is nothing to break, become loose or wear out! Its monolithic construction makes the blade, guard and tang one inseparable piece! Only the handle scales are an "add on" and they are quickly and easily replaced in the very unlikely event they break or wear out. Perfectly balanced with a sturdy yet needle sharp point and wasp waisted so it cuts coming and going. The Wasp is a frighteningly effective knife that's virtually bomb proof! Delivered with a terrific Secure-Ex sheath. It's light enough to carry all day and sure to last a lifetime if it's given a reasonable amount of maintenance.

Great stab. Dull blade. I mean to stab. Ok. But I can slam the blade on my forearm and NOT A SCRATCH EVEN it couldn’t cut butter w that. So nothing a few Japanese stones can’t fix. But then you end up w a TOTALLY different looking knife. Bc I swear to god instead of like 22.5 20 18 15 14 degrees. I swear to god it’s 45. It’s literally a right angle. So then. You can’t sharpen it on a stone without lowering the center. And you have to flatten the profile. So you have to get it. Stone it. Repaint it. Then it’s amazing
Feels good in the hand. Nice blade heavy balance. 1/4" thick right up to the tip. With it's narrow, thick, flat ground blade it's not a slicer, but it'll stab through anything. Perfect symmetry and workmanship.
The coating on the blade tip has started to peel off, this is very unsatisfactory. Also the knife is not very sharp, I have folding knives that are sharper.
This is one solid piece of razor sharp metal. Double edge blades are designed for 2 things. Slicing and stabbing soft tissue. One will have no problem with the wasp

The blade has more weight than I thought it would. I do have some hot spots in the handle. This could just be the way my hand is? The blade shape is unique, but strong.
